1. In Australia, “Burger King” is sparse. Instead we see Hungry Jacks - which in my honest and most fruitful opinion sounds so much more appetizing. So apparently the reason there’s no actual Burger King is because before Burger King opened in Australia, there was a small independent hamburger joint in Victoria called Burger King. Because there was a patent on the Burger King name for his establishment, the big Burger King chain was not given permits to open in Victoria using that name. Hence the name Hungry Jacks…but the menu and food and decor is the same as Burger Kings all over the world. I like Hungry Jacks more because the name makes my tummy rumble, ok?
